Women Photograph is thrilled to introduce our new class of mentees for 2023!
We reimagined this year’s mentorship program and will pair five early career photographers with an industry leader over the course of six months. Each mentee will also receive $2,000 toward a long-term project and have an opportunity to work together as a cohort and learn from each other.
Mentors include award-winning photographers Nariman El-Mofty, Hannah Reyes Morales, and Terra Fondriest, Smithsonian Magazine Chief Photo Editor Quentin Nardi, and Executive Director for Latin America at National Geographic Society Gael Almeida.
We received more than 400 applications this year and the selection process was incredibly difficult, but we're proud to share this year’s class. Please explore their websites and social media accounts, and stay tuned for updates on their work and supported projects later this year!
Made possible with generous support from Leica USA.
